"Exhibition of Naked Madonna Photos by Martin Schreiber Take England By Storm!"
The series of black and white photographs of Madonna show her as the exceptionally beautiful young woman she was. Modelling to pay her way through dance school, her toned body, perfect breasts, great skin, luxuriant pubic hair and mop of curls were a draw for several photographers.

Scientists have shown conclusively that after a nuclear holocaust only two creatures would survive - even prosper: the cockroach and Madonna. As yet there is no sure way of killing her.
Problem is the individual's definition of porn. To me porn is more raw and designed for shock value. The Madonna photo is as sensitive and beautiful as the old masters painting here, in my opinion. I appreciate beauty, but then I'm more open minded than that "majority." I believe it would behoove the general public to open their minds in order to better enjoy all the beauty in life.
Ms. Bergen,
If when you say:
"...I believe it would behoove the general public to open their minds in order to better enjoy all the beauty in life..."
you mean:
"...I believe it would behoove the general public to open their minds (and embrace a liberal democratic mindset couched in a Judeo-Christian belief construct) in order to better enjoy all the beauty in life..."
you're right!
I wrote a piece about erotica versus pornography, I'll put it under my name here, if you're interested. It's sad what happened to Madonna, she was lovely back when she was a human being.
Paul - can you send the link since it isn't in the post. I'd like to refer to it in the show this afternoon. I believe i read that post awhile back? The photo of her is quite lovely isn't it?
Cunny - Madonna isn't a person, she's a "brand." Even though i don't care for her myself, i have to admire her ability to develop such a successful campaign to be an icon.
Linda, precisely the point i was trying to make with the visual comparison. And there will always be a segment of the population that derives its shalls and shall nots from the morale majority, rather than developing their own opinion. That's all cool as long as they don't start mandating what "my" opinion and choices should be.
Cunny - very true and beauty is defo in the eye of beholder.... when not powerfully influenced by anemic models of course.
