Guess what! I'll be talking ARTS n' Stuff every Wednesdays with Johnny Dam on the DAMage Report. Y'all can tune in between 2-5pm PST / 5:30 EST / 10:30 GMT at http://www.latalkradio.com/. Call-ins are cool! You can listen from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access.
Topics will be posted on my FaceBook page, on Johnny's FB page and HERE on my Blog every Wed. So I guess whoever told me dorky was good, was right. :P
BTW - since two heads are better than one (minds out of the gutter please) and a dozen eyes are better than two, if y'all run across an national arts relationed news article that you think would be good for discussion, email me the link. If i use it, i'll give you credit of course.
Also- kinda along these lines, you old-timers probably recall the Lakota Princess "Dear Lakota" wacky letters about sex, relationships, etc. - all answered in a completely ridiculous manner. I'm thinking about reinstating those. Let me know what you think. If you have a letter you want to send email it to lakotaphillips@gmail.com and remember, you can take nothing i say seriously. Humor is the name of the game. The sillier the better. :D

This is exciting!
Now . . . just so I have this straight - it looks like his show is from 2:00 to 4:00 Pacific time. But your segment is at 2:30, right?
Not that I don't want to listen to his whole show, but let's face it, you're who everybody is going to want to hear, not him! ;)
Wahooo! Riffy! Baby! It's funny, you were one of the first people I thought of when Johnny asked me to be the show's Arts Advocate. I sez to myself "Kota-girl, there is a pretty good chance that ol' Riff-dawg might tune in to the show. Why he might even call in and let you hear his sexy, sexy voice!"
Cross my heart - them there thoughts crossed my mind. :D
And yes, my segment will start around 2:30 your time, give or take a topic overrun. :P
Be interesting to see what utterly stoopid thing i do THIS week on live radio. >_< heehee.
We should talk about the letters thing. Trevor might be an asset to you in this endeavor!!
Zomg! That would be great Susan! Do you think he would do it? For a brief time i had a blogger who would post his (very different) responses to the letters along with mine. It was highly entertaining! Okay, it was plain old fashioned crazy - but what fun!!
Congratulations! And yes the Dear Lakota letters were cool and funny, bring them back.
Thanks GingaPaul! They were so much fun to do. How are you doing sweetie? Staying out of trouble?
